Review: This $80 made it so I could drop one of my family AAA cards, and it paid for itself in the first year. We have a first generation Toyota Tundra V8 that sits for long periods of time, and needs a jump 3-4 times a year. This box will start the truck 4-6 times in a row. This jumper box has also served our family well during a power outage at home, as it has enough juice to keep phones charged. It’s small size and lightweight makes it convenient to bring in and out of the house (I strongly suggest not leaving it in the car as heat can damage the batteries). I have even used it to rescue family members and strangers in the parking lot. It also stays charged for months and so I don’t worry about when the last time I plugged it in, like I used to worry about with the old lead-acid battery jumpers.

Review: I bought one of these for my daughter who was having a strange problem with her 2014 Kia not starting without a jump. It was wintertime and I had no time to diagnose the problem so I bought one of these after watching everyone’s favorite YouTuber, Project Farm’s review of these portable jump boxes. This one performed without flaw for my daughter until I fixed the problem and now is settling into its standby role. It’s a massive power bank in addition to the jump box role, so we’ll use it for that and keep it powered up by charging with our solar panel.

Review: This jump box isn’t gonna jump your V8 50 times like it claims. But I was able to jump a 78 Ford 400 that had been sitting for 5 years 6x before it was done. This is extremely impressive considering my big Caterpillar jump box, and Stanley would just click. Over 80 Real AH on my tester should charge your IPhone or laptop at least 50X. Find one when they’re on sale and throw it in you glovebox. Follow instructions on charging and use and it should last a long time. That being said, NOCO Boost is the best for a reason and will start any vehicle in all extreme conditions, including big diesels. But I didn’t want to pay that much ($350)and maybe you don’t either. I’m happy with my purchase.

Had a discharged battery due to corrosion around the terminal and the car wouldn’t even detect the key fob. Emergency starting procedure just led to a number of clicks inside the car with a number of error lights on the dash and no turning over of the engine.

Review: Love this jump starter. It’s final boss in automotive field. If you need constant power for more than a minute or so you need a different type ALONG with this. Keep it charged and out of the weather I have no experience with leaving it uncharged and using after sitting in car for periods.

Review: This thing works and is just as handy as it looks, BUT.. know what to expect and what not to. Consider this a battery with a lot of cranking amps for only for a few seconds. A gas engine with a dead battery and nothing else wrong, this thing is like magic. Don’t expect to use it to crank it over for any long period of time while trying to diagnose a no start, you’ll get several seconds and that is it unless it’s a really small engine. On my 7.3L power stroke with dual batteries down to about 8v and only able to click the solenoid at that voltage, I connected this an hit boost and got about 3 seconds of fast crank. Pretty impressive for a 7.3 in 25deg weather. Nope, it didn’t have enough to fire it up, but I was impressed anyway.
