Review: I bought this v8 2000A jump box in November as a Christmas gift but decided to give the person something else. The end of January I made sure it was completely charged and put it in one of cars after being in car for about a month i ended up needing it. I hooked it up hit the boost button and tried to start my car, it barely turned over once and stopped the jump box had went from 100% to lo in one attempt. My car is a 5.3L so well under the 8.0L suggested for the box. I have other boxes this size from other manufacturers and never had this kinda problem out of them. It took a bit of back and forth with the manufacturer ( they wanted me to send me a video of me jumping off the dead battery but at that point I had used another box and the battery was no longer dead so I couldn’t) but after that they offered me a refund or a upgraded replacement. I went with the replacement and had it within 2days. You can tell some differences between this one and some of the more expensive ones and the amp range but there is also a good difference between this and the cheap ones in this range. it is has a good quality heft and some nice features.

Review: A month ago I left my van door slightly ajar, leaving the interior light on and draining the battery. Tried to contact people I know for a jump, no one available. I have AAA and they said they could make it in 2.5 hours. Called into work said I’d be late. Luckily though there happened to be a AAA tow service passing nearby and he called saying he could be there in half hour instead. Saved the day. I got lucky that day. BUT had I had this jump starter I could’ve just jumped my van myself. Of course I ordered this jump starter right after that. AAA is still useful of course but for jump starting I think this little thing is well worth it.

Review: I was very skeptical of this jump starter. My V8 Mercedes-Benz driven seasonally, on the rare occasions that the weather is nice if I decide to drive it, the battery is usually dead from the cold and lack of use. My bigger jump stater with air compressor doesn’t do the job anymore only jumper cables. Its 27 degrees this morning the car wouldn’t start. I put this on the car, pushed the boost button and 30 seconds later when i pushed the start button the car roared to life with all accessories (stereo w/ amps and subwoofers) heater / ac on full. I wanted to test this and i was shocked at how easily it delivered. Now i have to buy more for the other cars.
