Review: The battery iin my 1997 truck is 9 (NINE) years old and I only drive it about once a week. Was about to just pull the trigger and replace it as it cranks pretty slow, but I’ve had decent luck with a NOCO Genius 1 on my motorcycle so thought I’d try the Genius 2 for my vehicle. I got lucky in that G.M. put a little storage box under the hood so I put the charger itself in there, zip tied the wire to an existing wire loom across the radiator support and hooked it up. After a couple of days it took the battery which was around 20 percent charged (according to the scale on the charger) and got it up to 100 percent and is keeping it maintained. When I want to go I just unplug and remove the terminal clamps from the side mount battery posts (the NOCO clamps hold those little nuts very well). I like that I can leave it on in cold weather and the hottest as well. So far I’m a happy camper.

Review: Bought it because I have more than one vehicle and only drive one. Use it to keep the battery charged up. Also used it to charge three car batteries overnight, one battery is three years old, second is also three years old and the last is about 4 years old. It handled it well and charged them up fully. Even though it only pumps 2 amps, it’s more than enough. The product design and build quality is great. It’s convenient that is plugs into a wall outlet and has a long cord. I would definitely recommend! I got it on sale but even the regular list price is not bad at all.
