Review: It’s a pretty nice unit that can be used for an emergency light and USB charger during a power outage, which is more common for me than a dead car battery, but I noticed that the power button is not surrounded by a raised barrier, which would prevent it from being turned on inside the case. I tested this several times, with re-organized accessories and it always turns on when the case is squeezed. That’s a pretty big problem if you pack it tightly with other items, but it does turn back off after a few seconds if the button is not held down for longer than the 3 seconds it takes to turn on the flashlight. If the flashlight does get turned on, I suspect it will drain the unit completely, rather than timing out.

Review: Even though the instructions say it is only for starting vehicles, I figured why buy a small batery for $75 for my generator when I could get this jump starter and use it elsewhere also? So I got the gooloo and it works fine. Of course, since I removed the dead battery, the gooloo thinks the battery is too dead to start so one must use the boost button in order to crank something with no battery (read the instructions!) This is a small 6500-watt generator, so the engine is only 11 HP or so, but it starts well. And if I need a b ackup battery for my cell phone, the gooloo has that option also. I gave it only 4 stars for lightweight because is is substantial and if it were too light weight that would be a problem. So the weight is good.

Review: I can’t say enough positive about this tool! I got it so that my wife is not ever forced into a situation that could put her in harms way. Jumper cables and even road side services, are no guarantee! It was fully charged out of the box, but I recharged it anyway. First use, was an unexpected jump for my tractor! This thing is a powerhouse!!! It’s small, compact, easy to use and for the price… inexpensive!! But quality!! I’m likely to buy a second one just to have…maybe a couple as gifts…they are well worth it!! Great product!!!
